2. Data we collect
We collect the following data:
- Account data: email address, password (stored securely and not readable by us), display name (optional), profile picture if you add one, and profile visibility preference (public/private).
- Usage-related data: recipes you create (cocktails, ingredients, measurements, instructions), “My Bar” content, favorites, cart, and preferences (language, theme, measurement system, home page). This data is linked to your account so you can access it across devices.
- Technical data: authentication token for server connection, technical logs (e.g. errors) to ensure the service runs properly. We do not sell this data to third parties.
If you use our website, cookies or similar technologies may be used for site operation; you can manage your preferences in your browser settings.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Contract performance: creating and managing your account, saving your recipes and preferences, syncing across devices, in-app purchases where applicable.
- Consent: sending marketing communications (only if you have agreed), use of profile picture and public profile visibility.
- Legitimate interest: service security, abuse prevention, technical improvement and support.
We do not use your data for advertising profiling that is not in line with your consent.
4. Retention period
- Active account: your data is kept for as long as your account is active.
- After account deletion: personal data is deleted within a reasonable technical timeframe, except where the law requires us to keep it (e.g. billing, disputes) for a limited period.
- Technical logs: kept only for as long as needed for operation and security.
5. Who receives your data
Your data is processed by our team and by technical providers that host or operate the app and website (hosting, authentication services, etc.). These providers are bound by confidentiality and security obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the following rights:
- Access: obtain a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Erasure: request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations).
- Restriction: request that we limit processing in certain cases.

- Object: object to processing based on legitimate interest (e.g. marketing).
